    And 4-2

    ****e defending from Lindelof.

All started by Bruno's poor pass when Bayern looked rattled.

    Our defence is fcking ****.

I don't even fault the fullbacks, Dalot and Regae-man can hold their heads up, they impressed.

Incredible that Lindelof instead of Varane at CB makes such a massive difference.

The weakness in CM is telling. I just hope Amrabat starts soon.

Opposition play right through our midfield atm.

Pains me to say it, he did a good deal better than Eriksen for the period he was on.

Eriksen did nothing out of possession to close down on our first goal, and literally gave the ball away in an attacking position before the penalty third.

Sorry to say, but he's shot. Sooner Amrabat and Mount are fit the better.

In the meantime, I'd play McShit over Eriksen every day.

Btw Bruno's lazy passes at time fcked me off.

At 3-2 Bayern look nervy, we've got possession. He's got a straightforward ball on to two runners on the left, and he played a weak pass which was cut out and led to their 4th.

Bayern far too good for Man Utd
FT: Bayern Munich 4-3 Manchester United

    Stephen Warnock

Former England and Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

The scoreline does not tell the full story, Bayern Munich dominated this game.

These knts hate United. Somehow Bayern will be disappointed in the goals that they conceded and we deserve the goals that we conceded. Such a terrible way to summarize a game that ends in 7 goals.

Yeah, they'll reinvent this as our later goals don't count or something.

It wasn't really the case, it was fairly even and the two goals that made the difference were brain farts for their 1st and 3rd.

Otherwise, it was a decent contest.

Just like our loss to Arsenal was reinvented into them hammering us, where the truth is we were cheated out of it and scored a winner in injury time.

Arsenal aren't scoring those two goals if they hadn't desperately found a way to disallow our second.

Brighton, however, we were ****ing garbage.

Thank you for that! It is important to keep this difficult moment in perspective. The manager needs to try to other goal keeper, get the other defenders back and start a balanced midfield that will have some energy to control games.

We played well, gave away some stupid goals. But the performance was otherwise a good one away from home in the CL.

Bayern looked nothing special for 28 mins until they scored and then their confidence grew and with a 2 goal cushion played with confidence. They needed the goal to start playing.

But why do I need to watch to match to understand of ongoing issues?

Point is, we are conceding goals for fun. When the defenders come back, it will get better. Onana should also get some bench time.

I hated us buying Mount but I’d pay him to come back now lol

You said the manager needs to get the defenders back and start a balanced midfield. I'm sure he'd love to do that. Would help if they were fit though.

Just watched the game, Onana is a ****ing muppet, hopefully he will do a De Gea, have a brain fart or two (as it was anticipated he would) and then settle down. Apart from that I saw nothing bad, we controlled the game in parts and largely nullified BM's attack. So we went to BM, lost by a goal (thanks to a crap VAR decision) and we get ready to capitalise on a good performance.

You have to give Onana some respect for this, yes he dropped a bollock and knows it but he has also come out and taken full responsibility for the bollock and the loss, maybe a little too much responsibilty but at least he doesn't hide or make excuses.

The problem is I can think of 3 games now we've played well in and lost.

None of this will be resolved until the defence is back and Amrabat is playing.

Next 6 fixtures - Burnley, Palace (EFL), Palace (PL), Galatasary, Brentford, Sheffield United.

I watched the interview. It was good when he accepted responsibility for the fck up, but there was no need to continue going on about it.

He needs to cut those stupid mistakes out, end of.

The only times I've seen goalies turn it around is when they've had an excellent back 4 in front of them because they provide the cover for the goalie to improve. He's up against it.

Varane and Shaw back would make a massive difference, i am not too fussed about RB because both Dalot and Bisakka can do the job well enough.
Varane might be a lot slower than lindelof but his reading of the game means he doesn't often need speed, Shaw is fast as ****, links up really well with Rashford and is more than capable of playing as auxilliary CB when play is stretched.
In short, we are two starters short at the back who make a massive difference, Amrabat will be a total bonus and may even make the difference when Shaw and Varane are missing and we field second choice players.

Amrabat and Mount are now listed 50/50 for the next game which is good. It means they must already be training.

Why is Maguire out of the picture? Shouldn’t he be back in until we get everyone back. He can’t do any worse than we are doing right now. So why not give him the start?

Kane scores a penalty and it’s billed as an illustration of what we are missing.
