If i put a 18 or 19 year old in games and force them to play then the opponents won't care who they are. they'll kick 7 shades out of them. that's going to toughen them right up or have them crying to mummy. If someone loans a player off LFC then it should not be as a favour to that club nor as a just in case. Tbf, what loanee club is going to commit to guaranteed playing time? No-one can afford to field a player if he's not up to scratch, for whatever reason. The loaning club could have a clause stipulating a minimum amount of pitch time over a given period, and if it's not met then the agreement is voided - bring him back or move him on to another.

I think they have to have it to get anywhere but it has to be matched to knowledge that they have to deliver the work irrespective.
