The owners were there and are still interested. Most interesting news was the Linford Christie stadium is off, and as the owners do not want us to move. We are trying to modify Loftus Road. Probably not toymaker much bigger but to make it more commercially viable. Didn't seem much explanation how...as it is early days. Players....our wage bill is down. We have a new fitness coach and it is working ( is it?). Richards was bought by a previous coach not GA, (I assume that is Beale)... and " he has had problems but is a good lad". Some one asked if the GPS trackers that the players where could be tuned in to show the strikers where the goal at the Loft end was. I liked that. There was a bit more....oh yes we are getting a bit of income now from our Training Ground.which is good
https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/footb.../all-quiet-on-the-western-avenue-–-fans-forum Clives report, its a long but interesting report
So no new stadium and no QPR@Hillingdon? Why no Linford Christie? Sort of pleased to hear they are still interested but also wonder whether some other rich fella (probably) ought to have a go.
An interesting read I suppose. Nothing more than expected for the majority of the article - as repeated we, as fans, seem to be carrying the burden (mentally not financially) of FFP and P&S along with the board and management. Interesting comments from new head of performance Ben Williams - proof of the pudding and all that (must have been a good interview trying to understand what he was saying). DoF recruitment given to the mystery director - hmmm. More promises of things to come, but all under wraps - nothing to get excited about. Yet? Ever? No cheap pies. Southgate needs to get Eze on the bloody starting sheet pronto.
Beth, here's a question. Who gets "invited" to the fans forum? To me, it is the same old people from various fans groups/online fans forums. Why don't "ordinary" fans not associated to certain groups get invited? If they "invited" different types of fans, they might get a better interaction and asked better questions? Is the purpose of the fans forum, to present the club's feedback to the fans through the forums/groups? Just wondering.
This one was an open invite on the official website around mid August But any one can write in at any time and say I would like to come to the next one and they will be added to the direct invitations. There are a number of people like Clive who gets a specific invite I have had a specific invite before but not this time. There are limited tickets. So usually first come first served
Paul Morrisey mentions at the beginning who's in attendance ... 40% Top loyalty points holders 10% Of Fans site reps 50% Season ticket holders and members who registered an interest in attending.
