Think Merson is back on the booze, picked the Gooners as City's closest rival for the CL.

Lol, BBC Scotland put up this big article about how romantic and historic the Celtic-Feyenord match is.

And in true form, Celtic go there and slump to a **** 2-0 defeat.

We could have a system where anybody who wants to have a kid has to pay a deposit of £10000 to the government. This is then put in a savings-fund. If the kid gets to 18 without committing an offense, that costs the government money(jailable etc), the family get the money plus the interest back. If not the government keeps it to offset any costs incurred. Its essentially a sort of child liability insurance.

    There may be unintended consequences:
    1. Birth rate would probably fall dramatically which wouldn't be very good for us oldies needed young kids coming through to pay our pensions
    2. Poorer/single parents are less likely to have children which could lead to a fall in crime. Studies in the States showed that legalising abortion there was the biggest factor in reducing crime a couple of decades later.
