To move onto footballing matters I'm worried about the match. I can't see us winning by more than 4 or 5 goals, could be a tight 4-1 to us. Nervy stuff. If only we got a more challenging group where the dead-weight wasn't us and last years semi-finalists.

Now Newcastle having a wobble. Could easily be a goal down.

What you talking about, we're bossing this look at the stats:

53% possession, only 1 team in it.

I made the cardinal sin of watching the game instead of the stats.

Schar getting booked for heading the ball lol

I'm not sure we got the memo about the early kick off to be honest. Can't be worse in the second half in terms of performance but in terms of score-line it absolutely could be.

The Schar yellow was weird, I've not seen a replay but it didn't seem like anything on first viewing. Was frustrating that their RB got booked and looked like we could have got at him but just didn't bother - they've subbed him off now.

ps. that said I'm finding the narrative of "Newcastle can get something from this" to be an odd one that some journos are running with. They won the league in 21-22 and then got to the semi-finals of the Champions League last year. Playing away tonight I think it's safe to say they are big favourites.

The first half was an important lesson for you lot in the CL. You were bossing it, then you gave the ball away and from that moment on the momentum changed. Like Milan suddenly took control.

Second half similar with you starting well but become a bit more even. This could go either way. Gordon has been a bit crap tbh. Looks like your weak link going forward.

Wilson is absolutely key for us, give him a decent chance like the ones Milan have wasted and he's likely to score. We've been below par and yet are still drawing, it's not been a good match for us but even if it ends now like this i'll take it.

You're well in this. But wtf is going on in the final third? Where are your runners? It's all a bit slow and in front of their defence which makes it too easy for them. Imo any one of your front 3 get behind that defence just once and you'll score.
