With Bednarek out and Holgate being absolute **** against Sunderland, I could at least see why Charles was at CB. Tonight I'm completely perplexed however.

That team really doesn't scream defensively tight.

My only hope is we have enough goals to negate that.

6-5 maybe.

So, are we thinking no deep lying CM at all, or Smallbone is going to have to cover 15 miles tonight? I hate being negative when a team sheet comes out, but that midfield will be sliced through time after time. Really odd from Martin imo.

It's a very strange lineup, unless Bednarek is only barely fit enough to make the bench. I continue to be a bit perplexed that we cannot find a spot for Alcaraz, too.

This could work if Aribo shields us and makes some solid tackles. I am not convinced however

 

Maybe he wants t be sacked if/when it doesn’t work.

Even so Holgate should be starting and Charles should be in midfield instead of Aribo.

 

Not trying to be negative, but I fear this won't work against an under 11s team.
