Hull City and McVitie’s, the “True Original” of British biscuits, have agreed a partnership that will see the UK’s best-selling biscuit manufacturer become the club’s newest principal partner. The iconic brand that is instantly recognisable across the world, will feature on the back of first team playing kits alongside all first team training wear. With products crafted by master bakers, McVitie’s has a broad portfolio of brands, including Jaffa Cakes, Hob Nobs and “the Original” Digestive, that generations of families have grown up with. A true cornerstone of British life, the McVitie's story began in 1839 where Robert McVitie established a bakery business (McVitie's and Price) with his father. Fast forward to 2023, over 56 million packets of Original McVitie’s Digestives are now sold every year. “As a club, we are delighted to be entering a partnership with McVitie’s - one of the most iconic brands in the country,” said Acun Ilicali, Hull City Chairman. “McVitie’s and their associated sub-brands are loved worldwide and we are certain that they will be a great partner for the Club and our supporters.
