    Shocking that mind. Bloody go to a game and get sliced up. Awful, and I agree, apart from the novelty factor, (though I'm old enough to have seen us play Vasas Budapest and Sporting Lisbon after the Cup win!) I've no inclination to see us play there.

    Mind, I'm not exactly itching for us to get back to the poisonous PL, though I see the paradox in that.

    I've been glassed, had knives pulled on me and been shot at twice.

    Events like that replay in your mind a million times and leave a scar ...

    ... this poor bloke will have flashbacks for years.

    It’s been pointed out before; if a brit in England had stabbed someone from the European mainland FIFA would immediately ban all English clubs from European competition. I remember that lad a few years back who was killed by an Italian just for going to a European football Match. Left a wife and I think bairns. As far as I know nothing was done to deter it happening again.
