Once again many thanks for your time to do a great match day thread, it’ll be a tight one but I’m hoping we can come out on top so I’m going 1-3 to the lads and a great performance safe journeys to all who are attending COME ON
It can be two or three weeks mate. In his case he's playing with/against big powerful athletes so a knock can be quite hefty ... ... not like the deadlegs you get at school.
I can only remember the flashing girl who was there, I was fascinated, but not sure what the hell I was looking at
Hume , Ballard and o9 miss out for Roberts, Pritchard and Bennette. Possibly Dack/Rusyn for Patterson. **** them, all out attack or Speakmans window was ****e. 0-8 HTL KTF
Sorry yes missed that. In that case I’m in. Would probably take Huggins out as well and get Riggy in as fly keeper / quarterback
So, we are missing Cirkin (Hamstring - 4 weeks) Evans (ACL - 12 weeks) Matete (Knee - 8 weeks ish) Ekwah (Dead Leg - 10 days) Alese (Calf - ???) Dack (Hamstring 2-3 weeks) Pembele (General fitness - ???) Good that we have depth in the squad, but got to hope we can get Alese or Pembele up to speed soon for the inevitable injury to Huggins
can’t remember how or why but something is telling me Mowbray said Alese would be after next international break. You’d have to think Pembele will be similar ish but could probably come in in an emergency maybe?
So. I'd go: Patterson Hume O'Nien Ballard Huggins Jobe Neil Ba Pritchard Clarke Burstow Subs: Bishop, Triantis, Seelt, Taylor, Roberts, Rigg, Bennette, Hemir, Aouchiche Although I reckon TM will bring Roberts back and keep Pritch on the bench. Be interesting to see how Jobe does as an 8 - I'm not convinced he's a long term solution at 10
Thought Dack was on the cusp of being ready for tomorrow and certainly the weekend, or have I imagined all that?
Pembele probably just needs a few u21 games as he's barely played in the last few months. If we can get to the Boro game with no more injuries, the squad should be looking even stronger come Stoke (a)
