When Trafford got booked in the first half for time wasting I started thinking about how surely time wasting doesn’t exist anymore if the officials do their jobs and add the correct amount of time at the end of each half. Like theoretically Trafford could’ve spent 20 minutes taking the free kick but as long as 20 minutes were added at the end of the half no time was wasted.

Yeah I agree. As much as I want promotion, the reality of playing in a lopsided league with dodgy rules/officiating has clearly already hit Burnley, Sheff UTD and Luton hard. I am not looking forward to that first dodgy VAR decision at the SOL. Will be carnage

Don't think it's the time wasting per se, more the officials need to stop these unnecessary delays in play so the fans see a better game. Adding the time on is all well and good, we actually benefited at the end of the first half on Saturday, but it's like everything else at the moment, the top six are like teflon as none of these rules apply to them including dodgy Var decisions. First two games our lads were picking up yellow cards for minor infringements which they wouldn't have done last season but seem to have learned fairly quickly. All we ask if officials give us a level playing field when making their decisions.
Leicester 's new striker Tom Cannon was signed on deadline day knowing he has a stress fracture of his back and the club have no time frame for when he might be available to play.
