196 x 1 on the chest press today. Try and hit 200 before holiday. Failed at 201. 14kg down and 15cm off the gut so getting there. Should be cut for Xmas.
Torn calf last night on a little MTB route just before dark. 6 weeks suggested rest. That’s bollocks as I have a cycling trip to Mallorca booked for October.
Massive fat ****ers should maybe. Where I go (during work week) is at a local college. Not much kit, but cheap as **** and usually dead. Last night a family of three; Dad, Mum and son (teenager I think but how he got such a gargantuan overhanging fat ****ing gut so young is beyond me) all turn up just after me. Combined weight, about 140 stones. All great in principle, they're making the effort. They definitely should do some work. But collectively, they occupied as much as they could, all at the same time. Dad stood between the only inclinable benches, right in front of all the dumbbells, to do lateral raises with 8kg bells. You're in the way mate. He then does three or four reps on everything, with his fat son following round and doing the same. Mum just tried out treadmill, rowing machine, bike, and various machines, for about 30 seconds a pop, leaving a fabulous odour behind her. Might have to find somewhere else, where three people can't clog up the whole ****ing place. I hope they succeed though, obvs.
There's a fat bloke in mine who gets in early every day does about 3 exercises and then an hour later I see him sitting in Greggs when I drive back.
