it is but it’s in our hands to say go fk yourselves……:emoticon-0148-yes:

It’s a numbers game and we have always had the numbers but lacked the balls, so I’d say it’s about time most started to grow a pair

But they'll just dish out there fines, you can ignore and go to court but you'd need huge numbers to make that stand out they'll just rake the cash in. We need people covering the ****ers up like a place near me has.

Let’s be honest the only time I’ve seen people sticking together is to do as they are told as we seen during the Covid hoax

I actually do believe there is need for 20mph zones, but not a blanket cover of them, and I've no idea what they've applied in Wales. For me any road that is shared with pedestrians, ie does not have a footpath (excluding country roads) should be 20mph - Also any areas that have a school, should be 20mph during certain hours of the day, which can be indicated by the amber flashing lights, if anyone remembers them. Many years ago I saw a survey that had been done about speeders, as locals often complain about people driving through their areas too fast, it was found during speed checks the main culprits speeding were locals <laugh>

The problem I've seen over the last couple of days is people ignore the signs. They just do 20 in what is, to me at least, still clearly still a 3O zone. Because there are signs up saying that for **** sake.

People are so easily brainwashed. They hear all former 30 roads are now 20 and they just do it, like ****ing sheep.

There should be a way clearer directive, and that is that this is in residential streets and outside schools etc. Not all former 30 roads.

And there's nothing can be done, because you're stuck behind them. So you can't just ignore it.

It'll lead to people overtaking, which is more dangerous than just driving at 30, so defeats the object.

The other excuse this lot in Wales have given is driving slower is better for the climate.

Well really, is it? Because there are plenty cars will only manage 20 in a low gear, so are revving higher anyway. So, that's also utter bollocks.

Drakeford and his pals are ****ing idiots. But the bigger idiots are the ones who keep blindly voting them in.

I got hit by a car when I was a kid, but it was my fault, remembering I was a young child. There was a crossing for me to use, but it was further down the road, where I didn't need to go, so as a kid I'm thinking, no cars coming, can't see why I can't cross here. What I hadn't thought of at that age is there was a T Junction further down, where cars turned into the high st, so I hadn't thought of anything merging from there, the car driver didn't stand a chance really, because I stepped from between two parked cars, the next I remember is being hurled on to the bonnet, then lashed backwards until my head cracked the ground....it fooking hurt, I blacked out a for a second at most as my head took the impact. My mum felt bad for sending me out to cross a main road to go to the shop for her. I remember looking up and people all gathering round, like is he dead lol....then got carried out the road into a near-by shop until the ambulance arrived. I remember the copper asking me if the car was speeding lol, like how the fook would I know - I just said I doubt it, because I'd gauge from the junction to me, it wouldn't have been possible. However, if the car had been going any faster my head would have cracked open like a melon, and that's the thing, speed does matter, expect the unexpected rather than carrying the guilt of hitting a child.

Well completely agree, but as you've said, you were on the High St so that's one area that should be a 20.

Open non residential roads that aren't passing schools, or hospitals, or shops and such like, should remain 30.

As it goes, from what I've seen near me that seems to be the case.

It's the twats who don't look at the delimiter signs who are causing the issues.

    Had some good news today.

About 3 weeks ago I found a lump on my dog's belly and the vet was concerned it was cancer. Long story short, the last 3 weeks have been a nightmare, two ops, more lumps found, stitches coming undone and loads of stress and anxiety waiting for the biopsy results.

Happy to say that doggo got the all clear today and is well on the mend <ok>
