... we thought that ... and you've got nobody at the same level as Maddison, Tielemans, Barnes, Castagne, Iheanacho and Ndidi ... ... but look on the bright side ... you'll be much higher in the table next season ... albeit in The Championship ...
Luton, Sheffield Utd and Burnley are all in danger ... but Everton are right there in it with them ... you have to ask yourself ... would any of their players improve your squad / team?
Jose only probably had one sub left to make, but he kept holding it out until Lukaku got his goal, then subbed him immediately after lol Dybala MOM for me.
Dybala is s brilliant player but just so injury prone. Doubt he will ever be a regular at a genuinely top side because of that tbh
@Gessa made me laugh anyway https://x.com/timmsy_ks/status/1703409219951542503?s=46&t=-xelwRvhrS46vBDf7A5ISQ
Alway used to be a yellow, deemed to be kicking the ball away but refs stopped booking automatically in recent years Honest ref I did not hear the whistle because of the fans cheering when they thought I was going to score I remember one game where a player was ruled offside, scored what he thought was a goal and ripped his shirt off to celebrate, he was booked for removing his shirt which was then recinded and he was nearly booked for scoring the goal after the whistle had gone, technically he could have received two yellows in one go, the ref probably thought what the **** do I do now and settled for giving him a long lecture on football etiquette to the amusement of the crowd
Yeah that's what their player did, played it dumb, but not surprised really as a player if you have the opportunity to score you are going to take it, along with the consequences afterwards, rather than a player not score and say I thought I heard the the ref blow. The player in question was Mellon, so obviously I wasn't disappointed for him to see a red, their only threat removed from the game. Anyway, it gives me an excuse to post this while here, watch the number 23, L2 duggie, L2...
