Transfer Rumours Let's ignore the big ****ing elephant and blame the latest manager, again. Are we nearly there yet?

Does Pep call his players fat in public? lol

My gripe with this situation is that ETH chose to kick this off after the transfer window closed. The only loser in that outcome will be the club as the player’s value gets drained away from the team. We failed to sell enough players in the summer and Sancho should have been one of them given I expect ETH to have known that he can’t depend on him. We are too indecisive at the very top.

In reality though, you would take that student to one side to say that to them.

Anyway, whatever way you lot want to spin it. Your manager should have just dealt with it out of the glare of the media

    It was an avoidable problem.

He does with Kalvin Phillips. And doesn't play him. And no one says anything, including Phillips.

The idea of managers criticising players publicly is not new, I'm finding it all a bit baffling that some are suggesting it's not happened before.

Sancho deserves to have this publicly aired, **** him.

Have you given any thought to the idea may he have had several conversations with the player in private?
When someting isn't working you have to stop defending the player and asnwer a question honestly when asked in interview to see if it makes a difference, Sancho has shown it hasn't.
It's not a problem for us but it may be for Sancho if he doesn't buck up.

Yep and that's where it should stay

If he wants to work with the player that is

    He obviously doen't anymore.
Sancho has had plenty of chances and just can't be arsed (or is not capable) so why waste more time on him?

Sancho has basically been busted for being late, lazy, half arsed and unwilling to play outside of his 'favourite' position, and we're all somehow supposed to feel sorry for him.

    He can **** off.

Sancho is a top quality player

So that suggests it's the coaching that isn't right.

Anyway, it looks like he'll be out of the door eventually on the back of this, you'll take a massive hit on him too

    When and where?
I ask that because outside of Dortmond and the German league i haven't seen any evidence of it.

If he could be arsed to try he might prove me wrong.

EDIT..........we are taking a massive hit every time he collects his wages.

    Nope, it's called man management.

You don't get the best out of people by publicly criticising them.

I'm not here to defend Sancho btw

I just think your manager could have handled it better.

He sent him off for a personal break during the season to manage whatever issues he allegedly had.

And he's still at it! If there's a problem and a bad egg in the team, you don’t cosset them and pander to them, you deal with it.

This could he last throw of the dice.

He's clearly got an attitude and arrogance problem that is massively misplaced, he's done absolutely **** all as a United player while continuing to pick up his exorbitant wages.

If he's not earning those wages, and he clearly isn't, then why the **** should that be covered up?

This has been going on a long time and only now has it come out publicly, so it's patently obvious this is the last resort.

And no one gives a **** if we lose money on him, no one cares. We want players who try.

How long do you think he could have handled it better for?
This has been going on for over 12 months (3 of which Sancho was given time off to sort his life out).
The man has constantly been late for training/meetings, is hlaf arsed when he turns up and thinks he is hard done by whilst being the highest earner at the club.
The sooner he's out the better, no team needs a bad influence in the dressing room and if Ronaldo could be hoisted then he has no chance.

Fair enough if it's an ongoing discipline issue

Best to cut your losses and get rid

With Antony taking a sabbatical to defend himself, the opportunity is there for Sancho to take his place on the right side of our attack.

He's not interested, because he wants to play on the left. Which he's not even that good at.

Says everything you need to know about him.

Because of the wage he's on we are probably stuck with him until end of contract, if he really wanted to play he would accept a lower wage elsewhere to get that game time.
Very strong rumours that a few players in the squad are pissed off with his attitude which is not good for team morale.

We should have got rid of him in the summer. But that’s done!

Nonetheless, January is around the corner. But I can’t trust the club to cash in on any of the players.

As i said above, the wage will make this almost impossible and with his attitude he will be happy to just sit and take it.
A loan might be a a way out but i can't see him accepting that either.
