Win at Millwall is always a good result. Thought we we were decent defensively - certainly as the game went on. Though we were ok on the ball… nothing more… messed up a some good attacking positions. We scored with every shot on target. Whilst that’s a good sign that we’re more efficient in our finishing it isn’t sustainable. Today we benefitted from a scuffed shot falling to our striker and a deflected pass on the break falling to another. More luck than we had the whole of last season. Great win, promising display but it flattered us a bit.
I've always said we probably going to pick up more points away from home than at home. Teams leave us spaces playing at home and park a bus on their travels. on a counter this team destroys this division. it's when we have to break down the banks of 4 we have struggled. today the ref was weak as pizz Rowett had his tactics gift wrapped by the ref by manhandling any runners the Quick one -twos we played the object was to block the runners off the ball in any way he could and it worked. Still Over the moon with the 3points but we had to dig in at times out there. if I'm trying to be a equal here on the performance, don't think it was one of our best of the season and 3-0 was probably a bit unfair on Scumwall but heyho its swings and roundabouts. the two welsh lads Ampadu and Rodon were excellent out their today and I'm giving my MOM to Rodon he was awesome in the air against some decent arial threat He also played with a swagger someone we have desperately needed in our backline a dominate figure someone who with strength and can head the bloody ball. Archie did ok was quiet but did what he had to do. did the dirty work well on and off the ball. Sam Byram been surprised with him thought he's played really well since he's been here. if we keep him fit it's been a shrewd signing. The top 4 speak for themselves but I wish they would stop on their feet a bit more always seem to look for fouls dunno if they've been told to do it or it's becoming a natural trait but signs are there they starting to gel and the one, two's players are becoming more aware of each other. If teams go toe to toe with us I would always fancy us 9 times out of 10 in this division I actually would fancy us anywhere away from home in the championship but now we need to see what Farke can do to get around these park the bus tactics because this is the big problem we have seen so far. Not a great performance by all means today from us but we showed a bit more grit as a team defensively. managed set piece situations much better and our own set pieces actually looked threatening which is a massive step in the right direction. roll on Hull Wednesday night another team in decent form who I hope by their recent form will go toe to toe. eee aaaaiiii, eeeeee aiiiiii, eeeee aiiii ooooooh up the football league we go.
1st goal was fantastic football. Other two were a bit scrappy but Rutter had a solid finish. They all count.
1st goal was pure class, love piroes jump over the ball to let it through to rutter. I guess not up to your usual standard of wakey nonleague stuff.
Hopefully that wonderful victory makes some of you moaning minnies put a sock in it. Preferably one of OLOF's dirty ones you miserable foookers
I'm guessing all the Leeds fans have been casting their votes on the BBC page, as so far Sinisterra is the only Bournemouth player to rate less than 6 (currently at 5.54) Then again still a higher rating than all the Chelsea players, except for the keeper who so far has a rating of 5.82
Story doing the rounds that he's got an option to buy for €20m in his loan agreement. No surprise there then.
You must be gutted today though. I am thinking of you. Chin up, there’s still time for it all to go tits up.
Yer man in the grey tracksuit was in no position to fight after bouncing around that much. He was ****ed!
