He'll always just be Chaos or 'CC' (for Captain Chaos) to me. All the name changes since just get confusing.
Any team in the Prem that loses three on the bounce as poorly as we did will come under pressure. We were absolutely ****ing tripe against Liverpool and Brighton.
Decent in the first half against Liverpool and utter diabolical dogshit in the second half. Brighton a bit different, we were battered but they're flying atm, they absolutely destroyed Man U yesterday.
I don't know why people can't just admit Newcastle haven't been playing well... oh we were good for two minutes here and there ? Every team can use these mental gymnastics. Newcastle need to improve simple as that and hopefully they will once Howe gets his best side out. Injuries were not an problem all last season but they have been already this season.... people criticising signing tonali and Barnes can already see why the it only takes an injury to see the importance of both...we've got about 250 million missing from 11s.
No one's arguing that we haven't been playing well, we obviously haven't. It's just analysing the differences between each game. Liverpool we were completely dominant in the first half and should have been more ahead, then we were dire in the second. Vs Brighton we were battered all game...but I'm putting a positive spin on it by saying that Brighton are obviously a very good team themselves. A hard fought 1-0 win yesterday is actually a good thing to build from though.
Managers who are on the verge of the sack and in a relegation fight use this exact logic. We were good for 5 minutes first half, just didnt score.
I actually think Newcastle were poor from the red card onwards , but I also think Liverpool are a better football team which people have forgotten. They're 16 games unbeaten... Newcastle have lost to better teams basically ... Brighton I watched again Yesterday and they're absolutely brilliant.
Honestly they're absolutely brilliant and thry were missing key players... brought on good players and Gross btw is an absolutely tremendous player.
We should have been more than 1 up by the break, but the red card was a weird one, Liverpool were there for the taking and we suddenly seemed to not give a **** as soon as they went down to 10 men. Brighton are a proper machine, just keep getting better and better, Hughton got them to the top league for the first time in **** knows when, but they immediately went on to better things with Potter, but then as soon as Potter left De Zerbi took them to the next level. Now even with arguably their 2 best players from last year gone in Mac Allister and Caicedo, they once again look even better.

We aren’t creating anywhere near enough because we’re so predictable; but Howe has always stuck with his “principles” (ie never changes) to whatever end.
The fact it got headed onto his head and then deflected onto his arm which wasn’t in an unnatural position - 100% never a penalty. Even before you add onto the fact that Newcastle played pulled him back slightly. Ref was pretty **** all round though. disallowed goal was a joke. Absolutely nothing in it at all and still not 100% sure why wasn’t given. But then evened it up by giving a pen for Gordon’s dive so
