"I also demand big character from the refs.
This is a fantastic home ground and atmosphere but it does affect decisions"

The disallowed goal was a joke. If we hadn't won today I'd be livid with that decision.

I agree he's a good player, I just don't know that he's right for a high intensity pressing game. We seem to have holes in the midfield when he plays. Good on the ball, but we seem overrun without it.

Thought he did well today but he's definitely better further fwd... it'll only make him a better player in time.

Anyway lads despite hating the performance it's a much needed win for the team.

Let's look fwd to Milan.... I'm hoping the manager and the players have been holding something back for this.

Never in my life have I known a player get so much smoke and hype blown up his arse since Paul brayson was going to be the new shearer.

Yep. We needed the 3 points. It didn't need to be classy as well, just a win to get back on track. Scrappy will do for now, then we can build momentum.

Why did you add that last bit after I had hit the reply button? Now I'm having to edit mine to make a point. <laugh>

Great result, sometimes you've gotta battle like f*ck and win ugly and that's what we did.

We lack any shape. Nobody is playing to strengths. We’re being pressed and can’t play out, it’s embarrassingly obvious.

4231 suits this squad. That we are playing Longstaff and Anderson in the PL is tucking shocking. Thankfully, in a year or two we’ll have top end leadership and start to leave farcical stuff behind.

Oh please shut the **** up. We have never played 4-2-3-1 nor do we have a squad built for it, unless you’re planning on playing Anderson as a number 10 and not one proper winger that can cross a ball. I really do worry about some of you lot at times

Well that didn’t age very well.

Wilson really did improve as the game went on. For me a toss up between him and Gordon for MoTM.

Problem is is that you’re not able to see all of the pitch and are confined to ball watching as that’s what television does, for obvious reasons.

Right in front of me and, as usual at corners, there was pushing and blocking and somehow the referee spotted that it was obviously an attacking player that started it and then decided to wait 10-15 seconds just for the giggles before blowing up.

Again the second ‘penalty’ was right in front of me and last time I looked a defending player handling the ball with his arm in an ‘unnatural’ position was a penalty. Again I don’t know why VAR/referee changed the decision but again I’m guessing it was for pushing which only attacking players do and never is it both sets of players doing it at the same time. Yes, it was a penalty.
