we got **** all from the ref or the East stand Lino (who was like a Rabbit in headlights)

 

Spare a thought for my mate whose flight isn't till 11.30, he's had a long day.

I agree he's a good player, I just don't know that he's right for a high intensity pressing game. We seem to have holes in the midfield when he plays. Good on the ball, but we seem overrun without it.

 

This. It was very soft.

 

Thought he did well today but he's definitely better further fwd... it'll only make him a better player in time.

 

Anyway lads despite hating the performance it's a much needed win for the team.

Let's look fwd to Milan.... I'm hoping the manager and the players have been holding something back for this.

Wilson really did improve as the game went on. For me a toss up between him and Gordon for MoTM.

 

Problem is is that you’re not able to see all of the pitch and are confined to ball watching as that’s what television does, for obvious reasons.

Right in front of me and, as usual at corners, there was pushing and blocking and somehow the referee spotted that it was obviously an attacking player that started it and then decided to wait 10-15 seconds just for the giggles before blowing up.

Again the second ‘penalty’ was right in front of me and last time I looked a defending player handling the ball with his arm in an ‘unnatural’ position was a penalty. Again I don’t know why VAR/referee changed the decision but again I’m guessing it was for pushing which only attacking players do and never is it both sets of players doing it at the same time. Yes, it was a penalty.
