Fair result really but, how can we be so crap at actually scoring? We do everything else well except for that last bit, always been our problem.
On the upside though Philogene looks class, Christie looks more like the one we remember and Morton did nothing wrong. Twine needs a goal or something, he's been a bit disappointing so far.

Anyone who watched it online have a better idea? I was in E5 and it just looked like he pinned him down then punched him as he was getting up.
 
First half was far too pedestrian, not helped by Twine looking a bit lost. Second half much much better with Twine much improved (besides the free kicks). Disappointed to only get a point but there's a few reasons to be cheerful:
  • Philogene absolutely looks the part, in fact we may need some kind of slogan for him, perhaps 'Keep Calm And Pass To Jaden'? Or is that heresy?
  • Morton looked very good as well, he and Slater combined well, although Slater might be the player at risk from Morton.
  • Christie looked back to last season's version.
  • Delap looked unplayable most of the times we got the ball to him, much better option for us than Haji Wright who looked very quick but not much else.
  • 3 minutes injury time? It took that long to separate the players in the centre circle.

We got one quick replay at full time and I'm pretty sure it didn't show that bit.

I voted for a draw in th poll seems I got it right only managed to catch latter part of first half and thought we should have won it but expected Coventry to be hard to break down still good point
 
Car park chaos down Walton Street - haven't moved for 25 minutes - surprised to be out an hour after match finished
