Much better now, playing with some tempo and purpose. We look really good when we move the ball round with pace and forward players are making runs.

    Can’t the game in Mallorca
Spanish bar owner seems to think Bayern Munich is a bigger game!!!
The 20 Bayern fans in the pub might be swaying it

Really I think he’s looked decent. Coyle has been very poor changed the pattern of the game with his poor play.

We've played alright, we just don't seem that bothered that we're 1-0 down. It'd be nice to see a bit more urgency, because the longer this game goes on, the tighter Coventry will get in defence.

    Disappointing all round.

    Connolly squandered a great opportunity.

    Twine looks a bit lightweight.

Philogene doesn't seem to be on the right wavelength.

Fannying about at the back not looking particularly effective.

Fullbacks taking risks to no great advantage.

    Half time analysis:

When I saw Delap and Connolly starting, I assumed up front together. Unfortunately it’s taken too long to realise that is the best option - Delap has to be central as he will take on those centre backs.

    Philogene looks good.

    Vinagre can’t defend.

    Jones has been outstanding.

    Seri is class.

Coventry are much better than I expected.

Connolly missed a glorious chance but it was his exceptional movement which created it (check the replay).

I’m still hopeful. As long as we don’t slow it down and play around the back. UTT.
