Not sure why eggheads can't play on Sunday... They'd get a better crowd than 3pm on a Satdee....Bunch of knuckle dragging thickos.

    PS...Draw 1-1 or last minute lose 1-2

This fixture is remembered for the Jay Tabb scream - what a twat and Dennis Wise getting bottled for running up to the east stand to celebrate after he scored - what a twat

They did. And on Bank Holidays. All rugby games were on a Saturday for decades when rugby league was a winter sport so one of the two rugby teams was at home at the same time as City.

McFadz is a dirty git and spoiler he needs to be booked early otherwise he’ll bully Delap but maybe no Connolly - 2-1

Apparently McFadz is attending a funeral on the day so may not play.

They didn't play in the same stadium as us and force us to change Saturday 3pm fixtures though

They haven’t forced us. That was an agreement made by Adam Pearson as the owner of Hull City and the person in charge of the SMC that at the end of the rugby season if there was a clash then FC took preference and at the end of the football season City had preference. Nothing to do with FC forcing us, I seem to remember FC switching venues for a game, possibly a Cup one because we had preference and they couldn’t fix in a date in time at the Circle,
This nonsense keeps coming up about FC forcing us to change dates and it totally incorrect.

Something must have changed in the last couple of years though, because it's only this season and last that we've had all these Friday night games in the Autumn. Maybe they moved (back) to Saturdays as their preferred matchday or something?
