Well he didn't sign today so either he isn't coming or he signed before today and will probably be unveiled tomorrow. Unusual for one to be kept that quiet

Bolton fans on another site i use are angry they let him go and say we've picked up a very good player,it seems he left Rotherham and Doncaster as they wanted him to play at wing back but he prefers to play further up front and Bolton's manager tried to do the same with him but he said no to it.
 
Out a long time ago listening to Solent Radio with their non-league scene today Russell Martin is at the Eastleigh home game talking to Mike Willamson thee Gateshead manager did they play for the Wanderers at the same time or did they miss one another

Yes they played together for about 4 years they both played both legs of League Cup Semi Final against some London club managed by some Portuguese bloke in 2007

That's what I thought the commentator at the game couldn't understand why the manager of Southampton would be interested in talking to the manager of National League side Gateshead, who won 6-0 as well
 
Played 33 games for non-league Eastbourne Borough in 2020-21, but also spent time training with the Dons who signed him in 2021. Following their relegation, he was one of the players released
