I would still go, if I was you, but wouldn't it be awful *cough* if there was a bomb threat called in for their flight? Or even their hotel, if different from yours, had a fire alarm go off in the middle of every night?

Btw, if you do go, do not, I repeat do not, pass out our go to sleep in their presence. You have been warned! I once told a friend my favourite 'passed out' party trick (involved a peeled banana shoved down the back of someone's shreddies, allow 10 mins for it to mash a bit, then kick them until they're awake. Then the fun begins), not realising her chap was RAF. He told me another couple of really disgusting party tricks that I personally wouldn't do, but I can give you the details if it gets to that stage. You'd be a legend with the other squaddies - especially if it was your mate that passed out).

 

So the last game of the season we needed to avoid defeat to guarantee promotion you’d want us to lose (because we won’t have a proper sparkling, brand new, top of a range, all singing and dancing pl squad at that point. We’d have a Championship promotion-winning squad)

 

Providing we’re not going to repeat the mistakes of last time we were up I’d take promotion. If we’re only good enough to make up numbers and get numerous thrashings then stay put

Can’t guarantee we won’t struggle in the PL. Can’t guarantee we won’t comfortably end mid table or higher. The only way to find out is to get there - which is the whole point of it.

Poveda deserves everything he gets the bellend although more likely a tap on the wrist and a fine and community service unless he's up before a scum loving judge .....Aaronson certainly had a lot of downs last season so much that he qualified as a groundsman ....the wonder kid, well who knows what may happen to him in the next few years he may turn out to be as stupendous as hoped or he may end up at Wakefield and under the watchful eye of breakyheart

 

Wakefield are already playing at a higher level than Brendan the bunny can manage.
