I’ve been critical of Maguire for a while and don’t think he should be in the squad but that’s just harsh on him. The Scots mocked him relentlessly since he came on but he couldn’t do anything about that. If there is a god, poor Harry must’ve done something to piss him off. Seems like nothing’s gone right for him for about 2 years or more.
Maguire's been under pressure for his place for the last two tournaments and come out of both one of England's best players. Its time people backed off. Don't understand why we always need a fall guy. That said, Southgate probably shouldn't have brought him on at half time. Bad man management.

I agree. My concern is who becomes the next striker after Harry Kane - as he's a bit older than the rest.
The man is devoid of any confidence. Looks ****-scared to even be anywhere near the ball. He needed to leave Man Utd this summer and play regular games. Not playing for your club and still getting picked is on Southgate but it’s not good for anyone involved.
Can’t help but think how good Bellingham could be if Birmingham had sent him out on loan to places like Fleetwood to learn his trade instead of pushing the young kid into the first team.
