Own a few other clubs and one set of fans already been protesting about them - think was standard Leige?
Yes and Hertha Berlin. They have court cases against them in America relating to fraud, kidnapping, extortion, predatory lending and racketeering and one of the founders has a drug trafficking conviction. Will they pass a PL fit and proper owner test? Probably.
hopefully that means they are a cut and shut type of group and not another boehly type. what are the other clubs complaining about? cheapness or active asset stripping?
One of the club's fans released a statement that explained that they feared a 'business over football approach' that would exploit their club for the benefit of other clubs the group owned.
That should be banned. No one individual or corporation (or any other entity listing) should be allowed to own more than 1% or 2% of more than one club... and yes, that would include Red Bird who owns part of LFC. If you own enough to have an influence, you shouldn't be influencing multiple clubs.
I’ve said that multi club ownership seems completely absurd. Being able to buy players using your finances and then loaning to your other club or being able to buy to help ffp etc. I know uefa have rules so can’t play in same comp (Brighton owner has to reduced his share in Union SG to a minority stake this year so both them and Brighton can compete in europa league together) The Saudi gov have taken it to a whole new level with the 4 clubs all owned in same league and the league essentially buying players to give to each club.
Greenwood was initially charged in January 2022 and then charged again in October 2022, so how can he say they didn’t investigate and find nothing. The case ended because she withdraw the allegations.
that doesn't fit the obtuse narrative. like asking what is elevated etc when all was said was their former waste of money was suspended and evaluated levels of testosterone were reported. just likes to be awkward.
