That's like my boys. They are both interested in Doncaster Rovers as that is where they were born so I encourage that. However I still made sure they are both still United fans <ok>

You can't support two teams. It's just not cricket. India gave the Windies a good drubbing in the last test.

They don't support two teams - they are both United fans. Althouh they do have an interest in Donny mainly due to things like free tickets from the schools etc.

It'll be easier really as I doubt Swansea will be able to stay in the PL long term. More would be the pity.

He's going to have to though, I insist he supports his local team in Swansea but it will be impossible for me to not impart the ways of Manchester United on him. I and my whole family are from this area of Manchester and my lads will know about that, simple as that. They'll be grounded enough to appreciate their own local team though.

That's if they are even interested in football of course, it could be they don't bother.

I'm not seeing much cricket at the moment Red as I'm away in the week and then at weekend don't get much chance to put it on Sky.

RHC- have you heard that the research found about neutrinos travelling faster than the speed of light was reproduced with the same results? Could be a watershed moment in quantum physics?

So due to your inferiority complex the first thing you thought of was posting on the Liverpool/Man Utd boards.

So, seeing as you've decided to come on here all proud that you and your mates support your local team, how do you feel about the many, many local fans who've jumped on the Swansea bandwaggon but couldn't be arsed until you got to the PL and were probably off 'supporting' some other PL team a couple of years ago?

Uncomfortable? Thought so. Not quite so ****ing smug? Good.

Are they the same plastics that Swansea used to welcome into their ground in droves despite them wearing other team's shirts when you were wallowing in League Two a few years back and needed them to bolster the numbers?

I think that is pretty niaive of swansea city to think that they can stop united fans entering the home sections of the ground whether they be "local" or "away" united suppoters. I don't mean this in an act of aggression, just reality, as whether United play at Anfield, the San Siro or Barry Town! they have for decades done anything to get inside the ground to watch United - even it was a friendly match in KHATMANDU. once in they will make no bones of who they support too. just something inherant in following united.

That said I think it will be a good day for all concerned, certainly the Swans biggest game for decades, and I hope everyone that goes shows their full support regardless of the who they support or the eventual scoreline.

Swansea are a family club and I wish them well, ........... and any local reds have the opportunity to see and vocally support they're team too
