I had hoped that Johnson and Son would have been more effective.

Son played a very different role to his game at Spurs, hanging back behind the front three. He seemed to be limping as well so I was surprised he played the full game.

Davies was his usual combative self.

Johnson, subbed at half time, put a lot of effort in but didn't have great service.

There was a 4th though Rodon is on loan at Leeds this season.

 

Yes, forgot about Rodon. In addition, Jürgen is a Spurs old boy.

 

Good luck to Wales tonight in what might be a must win game.
Also to the U21s as they take on Lichtenstein tomorrow.

Yep. It's definitely on S4C from 7.20.
For us exiles, this is usually available via BBC iPlayer.

 

I get S4C on 134 on my sky box.
BBC 2 Wales on 968 and BBC 1 Wales on 965.

 

So I won't understand an f' in' word apart from the ones where they can't think of a Welsh translation. Ah well picture only, dim sound.

The one of only 2 Welsh words I know. The other one is parcio.

Bloody sloppy end to the first half. Could have been four up after 20 minutes and then we take the foot off the gas.

 

Our passing has gone to $hit since we took the lead.

Worrying to see Rambo being taken off, hope that was just tactical (he certainly didn't look happy at the decision).

Have to say that refereeing decision to stick with a yellow card for the foul and knee high tackle on JJ was a joke.

Really worried we'll let this slip from our grasp here...

Have to say, I know the knives are out for Rob Page, but had we drawn or lost that, it would have been purely on the players...

The system was working adequately, we were getting the ball into good/promising positions and it was just careless play, sloppy passing and poor decision making that was buggering us up.

Big sigh of relief and still in with a shout to qualify....
