Addisons main strength is his route running allegedly. He’s built like a 12 year old so he’s not going to win anything physical, and his 40 time was average. The college highlights I saw he was always wide open so he must just be amazing at routes. Was wide open then so hopefully a sign of things to come
Cousins has thrown for 273 yards and Mayfield 63, yet the HT score is 10-10. To have only scored 10 points so far is criminal.
Pathetic loss. Pathetic management on 4th downs from KOC. Pathetic to let the Bucs run the clock down. Almost certainly going to be an 0-2 start now.
Yeah not the best start against an awful team. The D is woeful and if you have 3 turnovers v zero turnovers you aren’t going to win many/any games. Main aim this season for me is to somehow trick Jefferson into signing a new deal. Have a much harder schedule this season so wouldn’t surprise me to have a top 10 pick, maybe even top 5. Not a terrible thing with Cousins in his last season to be in a position to get one of the better QBs in the class.
Not a great start but some good moments. Defence looked decent in the first half, but not so good come the second half... some nice plays on offense at times, shame we shot ourselves in the foot. The obvious turnovers but also that penalty on 4th down that led to a first down which lead to a TD, when Tampa would have gone for a field goal. It was more like we beat ourselves than the buccs beat us Everyone's already written us off against the eagles but everyone wrote us off against the bills last season. Any given Sunday. Or Thursday as the case may be. Though I can not recall us ever beating the eagles since I've been a fan, 0-4... but hey we gotta beat them some day
Yeah they will get battered in Philly, can see another 20+ point loss. As I said previously not a bad thing to have a **** year this year with Cousins out of contract. Biggest worry with that is Jefferson going elsewhere, but I don’t know the cap situation of other teams to know enough about that. He won’t have earned enough money yet to take a cheaper deal at a contender you’d think so it’s just whether there is a contender atm who have a lot of cap room, which seems unlikely. He is going to get paid no matter where though, needs a couple of million a week to support his bling habit
I haven’t seen Drive to Survive but is a documentary following 3 Quarterbacks in an NFL season behind the scenes and during games as well. Is a decent watch, not sure how enjoyable it would be if you didn’t follow the sport but probably worth a try if you like those sort of documentaries in general
Thanks . F1 is my first love in sport , but I cannot stand Drive To Survive . I like American football , have been to a game at Wembley ( Bears v Buccaneers 2011 ) . Have a soft spot for Greenbay as I have relatives in the states - Rockford Illinois . They are ALL Bears fans , except my cousin who’s a packers fan , so she had support when I was visiting
Quarterback was decent. I particularly liked the episode about injuries and the play calling. I still haven't seen the last episode. I'm not sure I can stomach seeing a whole episode of Mahomes winning the super bowl seeing as the two teams I least wanted to make the Superbowl out of all the playoff teams were the two teams that made it. Though I would absolutely love it if we beat the eagles. Not even because the eagles fans are trash (though they are) but because everyone has written us off already and I would absolutely love to be like "Ha!" to all those naysayers. Maybe we lose but I won't write us off long before the game even starts. Any. Given. Sunday.
I support the mighty Minnesota Vikings! I've never actually seen Any Given Sunday, I just know the phrase refers to the idea that any team can potentially win on any given Sunday. Honestly the negativity and defeatism of Vikings fans is more tiresome than the actual loses. Plus after seeing your football team relegated three times in four years, you tend to be a bit more chill about things such as having a not so great season or losing a game in the NFL
