Don’t know, I don’t recall watching him play before. An Ipswich supporting friend of mine said he was alright but not much more, obviously a long time since he played for them. And to be fair to him he is the exact sort of player I dislike watching, so there is every chance that I am being harsh on him.
He is a pushover. And this is the problem with loans. You send players to the Champ to toughen up. We are doing West Ham a favour. Over a season he may grow into the player he has the potential to become, but we need a tough guy now.
Well he’s played in the Championship before, so it shouldn’t be a surprise to him. He’s not the issue here.
And would you believe it... a header! Tbf if he does well out there we might actually be able to get decent money for him.
