I've saved at the last part of some secret base mission. Some puzzle stuff about to happen.

 

I collect starfield today. I don’t think I’ll get the chance to play it though

 

That wasn't easy.

 

Re mass

When making outposts you can make small warehouses to store around 75mass so not much but it helps of you build a few.

Also keep an eye on how many ship parts you are holding, just realises i was carrying 29 of em and when i dropped them on my outpost hab floor my mass went from 235 to 45

 

I've stored most things in my safe and then spread out over companions and ship and that new ship has decent storage. Still only made one base but I have a wicked Bounty Hunter suit and I've upgraded a few weapons so I'm tooled up. Getting that ship was tough though.

 

Back to just wandering now though.

Put down the beacon

Made a small hab with an airlock

Made a small warehouse

Put down 2 extractors, one on some aluminium and one on some berulyum but they aint doing nothing and the menu in them dont have a start the fujing machine option

 

Got it, and now have hours of downloading, **** my life

 

Played about 37 hours so far and barely left the 2 first systems that they introduce you to and not even been to some of those planets, it is ridiculously huge can't get my head around it. For example I spent about 7 hours just to 100% the moon and there are1000+ more to visit and larger places. On top off that there's ship and base building.

 

2 hours in, just following the story at the moment to get use to the game. The expanse of the game is another level.

Don’t really know how I can fly in space without fast travel, as I can’t seem to tell where I’m going

 

Not much. Already on 3 hours

 

Pretty good going.

 

Got a proper one going now and linked the storage so that I can transfer to any others I build. It's pretty straight forward but loads of resources needed and figuring out the right stuff is a pain.

 

Looking at the skills now and trying to build in a way that I want. That health regeneration one is a must though.

 

It’s a strange game. It’s not one I can play for 30mins or so, as you feel like you get nothing done.

 

I'm getting to the point now where I can play for short periods. When I'm done playing for a while I'll either stock up on resources and fly to my base to build or I'll land in a planet and find a cave or pirate outpost then save. Gives me something short to do then.
