I only played once in my life TC, but it was the most knackered I have ever been. I don't know how the top players keep going for eighty minutes.
I played a lot as a junior - even played for the county as a schoolboy - stepped up to the mens level aged 16 and I can promise you that the animals who took great delight in wiping you out long after the ball had gone tended not to be toffs!!!! Quite a few fat lads though and the scrum was basically a refereed punch up!! I've a mate whose son is in the academy at Newcastle Falcons - it has changed so much since my days as even at that level they are all top end athletes now.
Can’t see past France or South Africa this tournament, can’t say I’m excited to watch England later either
Brutal but brilliant game mate, gave up playing when the season was cut short with covid, miss it like but waking up feeling like you’ve been in a car crash on a Sunday morning isn’t for me anymore haha
Enjoyed the French game, l cannot see past France, S. Africa, and include Ireland. Never played rugby, but youngest grandson plays, and will be watching this afternoon at Oakham, followed by both England game this evening. England should of got rid of Jones much earlier to give Borthwick more time.
Enjoy all sport, but rugby is a challenge for me. Much prefer the beautiful game of individual skills, where I can at least understand most of the rules!
Still wouldnt write off new Zealand but france were very impressive yesterday Looking forward to scotland vs SA tomorrow Its a joke that the top 5 teams in the world are all in the same half of the draw
Not a Rugby man obviously but struggling to see how the Argie yellow wasn't worse than the English red
Too much stop start for me, seems worse than other big matches I have watched in the past. More like American football now.
These new rules are very confusing, argie lad takes out our player in the air and it's a passive contact and he fell ok so just a penalty. What the fudge is passive contact?
