Possibly been discussed before, but anyone else having occasional thoughts about how bizarre it is, when you stop and think about it, that Ukraine are actually at proper war ATM. Fighting on the front line to take back their land from the Russians. Yet tens of thousands, as well as players, coaches etc there for football. I know there's an argument about it being a positive distraction & so on, but that logic seems more than a bit lame? Maybe just me but seems odd, even wrong

Nothing there to persuade me that I'm wrong and that Southgate is the right man to manage the England team.
Or if not able to fight, somehow helping the war effort in their land in whatever way they can? (Although many look very capable of fighting).
To this day a large majority of them consider a guy who collaborated during Operation Barbarossa to massacre hundreds of thousands of Poles a national hero. The Ukrainian ambassador to Poland even got pissy when a Polish official asked Ukraine to acknowledge and apologise for the massacres. Strange, ungrateful bunch. In other news, Henderson, Maguire and Phillips should be nowhere near this team. The Southgate love-in has worn off and more people are coming to their senses about him not being good enough for the job and wasting a talented generation of English players.
Only caught last half hour but I was appalled. There should be meetings and decisions to change things immediately. England players with an i in their name had it in lower case whilst the other letters were capitals. Get it sorted!
Not sure if Maguire gets played by Man Utd or wanted a move but does he really have to look so pissed off all the time when playing for England?
