    Frustrating isn’t it. We haven’t even mentioned defence either. Stones is quality, Walker is top drawer and he’s not even the best RB in the squad..

    Finishing a game you’re chasing with Rice, Henderson and Gallagher in the midfield is embarrassing. It’s even more defensive than the midfield we started with if that was possible.

    Painful to watch I’d hate for him to be Sunderland’s manager knowing that’s what we do when we’re chasing the game.

    Absolute credit to Southgate, it takes a quite an incredible gift to make such a dynamic and talented squad of players look so utterly flat and one dimensional.
