To be expected, shame injury and NP going back to Leicester has stopped us seeing more of what he can do.

Or keep bringing him on for 10 minutes at the end to tighten that hamstring a bit.

I think we tried, but as the loan is the probably on the same terms, we couldn't send him back. I suspect we just told Liverpool he wasn't going to start for us and would they like to take him back and re-loan him to somewhere he'd get regular football, but they declined.

Hull City A.F.C. Adam Pearson: "His future is that he's here until January 3rd. He's got a good affinity with the club and he likes playing here, although obviously we haven't been able to get him onto the pitch as much as we'd have liked. We know he is a good player, certainly somebody we would be interested in.
"I don't think it's the foregone conclusion that everybody thinks it is that he'll go back to Leicester, but he's certainly a player that Nigel Pearson admires so I'm sure he will want him back there.
"He's a player we like and I'm sure Nick will be utilising him over the next 6 weeks."

Hull City A.F.C. In addition to that, he cannot be recalled before Jan 3rd

I can see the logic in that, but on the other hand if he doesn't play for us he's unlikely to get into the Leicester team when he goes back. If he has game time with us, gets match fit/sharp and is scoring goals there is more of a chance of him being in their starting line up.

If I was in his shoes I'd want to play to the best of my ability whether I was on loan or not.

This could all be irrelevant if he's still injured though??

I remember someone starting a thread just after Waggy arrived asking how we thought he'd get on. Most people expected good things of him, some stayed on the fence and the usual suspects said he wouldn't be any good due to him been one of Pearson's Leicester signings. So with it looking like he won't be with us for much longer, how would we review his time here? Injury has stopped us seeing enough of him to make a good judgement but from what we've seen I think we've seen a good player who improved us going forward and would have continued to do so had he stayed here.

I for one would love him to stay but we know it's not going to happen. He's one of those players I have confidence in every time he gets the ball to do something good with it or at least not give it away. Can't say our entire team gives me that sort of confidence.

Waghorn (based on the limited mins hes been on the pitch) adds something different to what we already have. We clearly need to replace him for this reason alone once he returns to Leicester.

    Very dark!
I think we should play him if he looks up for it in training. He will want to impress NP and score goals, and he may not get games at Lesta to do that when the cheque book there gets waved in Jan.

here we go again. SPECULATION SPECULATION SPECULATION. what an obvious article. of course NP wants him back soonest BUT does Waggy want to go back there ? i think alot will come down to where both clubs are on Jan 1st.... playing for NP who will be sacked next may anyway OR NB who has been there and done it and can improve you as a player. until i hear from Waggy's own mouth that he wants to go back or his body language shows that fact then lets give the lad a chance. first of all he has to get fit. the next 7 weeks will be very interesting indeed.

if they could they would. but from what ive seen of waggy so far i am still 50/50 as to weather he is good enough. 1 goal is all that he got whilst NP was in charge.

waggy may feel that NB is a better person to bring the best out of him. its all up in the air at the moment.

We've already had this debate on a couple of other threads, I've even posted the FA rules on one of them.

A season long loan can't be recalled, a part season loan can be recalled at any point after the first 28 days have passed.

After reading the Daily Mail article I looked at the Football League Blog. There is an interesting article about Billy Kee and who he modelled his style of play on. He seems to be able to score for fun.

What Waggy wants has got **** all to do with anything, he's a Leicester player, when they recall him(as the article says they will), then he'll go back. The fact is he'll probably want to anyway, as he's their player and he's NP's man.

The FA rules on loans(for those who have decided they can make up their own rules) - A short-term loan is for a period between 28 and 93 days, including the start date and the finishing date. (All loans are for a specific number of days, and technically there is no such thing as "a month's loan".) The player cannot be recalled by his original club during the first 28 days (although it's possible that such a recall is allowed for goalkeepers in an extreme case), but can be afterwards regardless of the original period of the loan.

lets wait and see then what happens shall we. i will go along with what Adam Pearson has said for now. I know what the loan rules are ffs, but if AP says he is ours until Jan 3rd then thats fair enough for me.

As of now i still want to see Waggy fit and on his game. What happens from Jan 3rd will happen. But to think that Waggy has no say in all this is very nieve of you. First of all Waggy has to get fit to play.

He doesn't have a say in it unless he hands in a transfer request to NP. In the absence of that he goes back

yes thats one way of doing it. his fist is another. lol. seriously, Waggy can have a massive say in all this.

if Lesta are struggling come Jan 3rd, would he want to go back knowing than NP was facing the sack anyway ?
lesta are a club on the brink. do they tip left for success or right into oblivion ? time will tell.
