Back on football it’s nice to see Bielsa back in world coaching keeping his 100% win record for Uraguay after beating his former national team Chile 3-1 in the World Cup qualifiers. He doesn’t hang back subbing off superstars too as both Nahitan Nandez and Darwin Nunez were hooked
Just watched some great personal performances from the Brazil Bolivia game, where the Bolivian keeper did a Tomazevski and pulled off some brilliant saves to keep the 5-1 Brazil win in single figures. Richarlason fired blanks against this keeper and should have had 4 goals. Naymar broke the Brazil scoring record scoring twice and going above Pele and Raphinha scored a great goal
I think one of the big questions people like Hay and Smyth should be asking is: shouldn’t the club issue a written statement to the press and fans rather than sitting down with a tame outlet like the square ball? TSB have advertising obligations and need eyes and clicks to stay afloat. So in my opinion will have agreed a format and a level of questioning with Kinnear before sitting down and doing it. There was a load of stuff that wasn’t even discussed, but maybe that’s just me…..
Is TSB the one with Moscow White. Dunno his real name. If so they're pussys when it comes the journalistic front. Kinnear would be able to control the narrative. I didn't see the explosion from AR but I'm hoping it's dented the yanks credibility.
Yep and now there’s a lot of media coverage about fans being unhappy at slippery Kinnear who was more politician than footy CEO and TSB allowed him to get away with murder. More fallout last night as Radz weighed in basically telling Kinnear to own his own shyt. He was CEO so not all down to Orta regarding the relegation clauses. Then Leeds fans weighed in on Radz and he has had to delete his twitter account due to the abuse.
There’s the quote claiming rads had never seen the contracts. What a pillock in charge of club. Cellini wouldn’t have even been that fckin stupid. Good riddance to his Twitter account
To be fair Radz has a point. One of the many management courses I got sent on, the one thing that stuck was if you delegate a task to somebody you shouldn’t be checking the details of how they are doing it. If you do then you’ve given the job to the wrong person.
3 months jail for a slight push, the country is fooked A pitch invader who shoved Newcastle manager Eddie Howe during a match against Leeds United has been jailed. David Derbyshire, 35, from Leeds, confronted the Magpies boss after running on to the Elland Road pitch during the Premier League game in May. He was sentenced at Leeds Crown Court to three months in jail after he admitted entering the playing area without excuse and assaulting Mr Howe.
Hardly the same is it? Surely the owner of a football club should read every contract. You would have to be a right idiot to not check up on the DOF. Oh hang on.......
So today at 3pm wakefield afc take on local rivals Horbury. Their own record crowd is 608 which for 10th tier is very good. 28c temp is the forecast it will be tough on tbe players.
At some clubs the owners are never there, Tottenham, Liverpool and Arsenal springs to mind, they leave their CEO to run the club, you don’t pay someone millions a year and expect to check every detail of their work.
Wasn't it President Truman that popularised the saying "The buck stops here"? Now if it's good enough for someone who's leading a huge country, why isn't it good enough for Radz? Or any other owner?
Not saying it’s not his responsibility ultimately because he appoints his management team just some leave that team to manage details.
Every little detail. It’s cost and will cost the club hundreds of millions. He called himself a custodian of the club ha. Dress it up any way you like those three muppets were imbeciles that wouldn’t run a corner pizza shop. Make no mistake fans will discuss them in twenty years in same light as risdale.
