What's the difference between a transvestite, and a bloke who says he self identifies as a woman and simply puts on lipstick and a dress...given that I'm sure no one wants predatory male sex offenders having a legal right to enter women and girls' safe spaces?
A transvestite enjoys wearing the clothes of the opposite gender.... I maybe a transvestite as I prefer wearing trousers to dresses. Next question please
...and so if they did this, but said they were self-identifying as a woman every time they wanted to have access to a woman or girl's changing room, that's alright, is it?
The two are unrelated. I identify as a mother/ nanny I prefer to wear trousers. ..I do not want to go in your smelly toilets thank you. Can you see how complicated it is now?
I prefer to wear trousers and don’t wish to go in the men’s toilets in the Ellerslie Road Stand, you have confused me now!
I've no idea what you're talking about Beth. Are you on the G and T's? It cannot be right that a man can put on a dress, claim he is self-identifying as a woman and then display his bits to a 10 year old girl in the female changing room. It's a sexual predator's charter. Of course, if he has the surgical operation etc to transition, that's different.
Complicated as I keep saying. So who polices this Goldie. A sexual predator...dresses in a frock... A transitioning person dresses in a frock.. They both go into a ladies toilet... Who polices this? A guard on the door (perverts apply now) "Excuse me madam...can I see under your skirt to see if you have a penis or some nasty scars" Let's all just settle for universal toilets ...and forget the matter
You can't police it. That's the problem. That's the danger to young women. I doubt most women want a universal toilet either. Maybe trans-women that still have male genitals should have a separate unisex toilet.
Absolutely...as have said many times before. Universal toilets, as well as urinals. What's the hassle. At home I share my toilet with a man...I am sure many of you share your toilet with a woman or two.. What is the fixation with toilets
Couldn't agree more on that point Goldie. I am fully behind trans rights...my motto is live your life as you see fit, but do not hurt other people doing it... but some , and I have got to say some, but often the most vocal and active, have some horrible and destructive views. It is no concern of mine if someone wants to live their life in the opposite gender. Just do it, and as problems appear society should deal with them in a moderate way
There are some vile and sometimes violent trans activists, Beth. They do ordinary trans people no favours, and just make the public antagonistic to the whole issue. "Agree with me or I'll kill you" just won't cut it.
Professor Winston doesn’t find it complicated. Just states that you cannot change your sex. What does he know that Loretta on Facebook doesn’t ?
