Several have multiple convictions. One was recently let off because he was deemed unfit to stand trial because of dementia but takes himself to the shop every morning for the rolls and the papers.

Neil Strachan was already a convicted *****phile when Celtic gave him the go ahead to start CBC East.

Depends on your definition of employee I suppose. If the class action goes against Celtic then they could all be classed as "employees"

 

No they won't. Its about Celtic FC having a responsibility for what happened, the employment status is Celtic FC defense against any claim of responsibility.

If Celtic are found Vicariously liable for the actions of the people at Celtic boys club then that will be the court saying that Celtic boys club and those who worked there provided a service for Celtic and as such are in fact defacto employees of Celtic.

Celtic do claim that because they weren't directly employed by a Celtic and the boys club was a totally separate entity from CFC then they aren't liable for what happened at CBC.

It's a pretty thin defence given the mountains of evidence supporting the fact that CFC and CBC were intrinsically linked and CBC was used as feeder club for CFC for decades and CFC signed kids on Sforms and sent them straight to play for CBC.

But hey, you never know what the Scottish judiciary will do given their history with this subject.

 

And the fact that most of the judges is this country are fenian bastards
