I wouldn't go to live and work there, too fooking hot for starters. It's unbearable right now in this country and it's supposed to be September. I know you'd have aircon indoors, but imagine everytime you want to go out, I can't tolerate it in this country.

Also I don't get what anybody needs that sort of money for, I'd be happy just to buy a quaint little place somewhere in Europe other than just the UK, I don't particularly like driving so no expensive cars will be had, I'm not a fan of big fook off houses - when the grandkids ask where's the pool, I'll tell them to go find the beach lol, not having none of that hassle.

Needs to be in easy reach of a bar and other eateries, but not close enough to piss me off. I really don't know what would I do with all that money, it's ridiculous, although I'd probably get pleasure out of helping people who need it.

Henderson has been on over £200,000 per week for 5 or 6 years.
    That's £10.4m a year...over 5 years that's £52m. Then there's his sponshipship and promotional payments on top.
WTF does he need more money for FFS?
If anyone on here got Saudi money for a year it would completely set us and our families up for life...Henderson is already set up for life.

If someone won £10m and said they needed to keep working a normal job "cos they and their family ain't set for life" I'd think they were a twatty ****...

This pretty much sums up all non middle eastern/ Arab/ Muslim players going there... twatty ****s one and all :bandit:

Saudi money's no good for our football industry bro. It's all good for our arms industry though. Every time football and Saudi are mentioned in the same breath, twitter's alight. But billions in blood money taken for murdering thousands of kids in Yemen and millions more innocents.... lap that **** up, swim in those Riyals. Don't question it, would hurt our economy don't cha know. Even though we've been quite happy to fck up our economy to teach those pesky Ruskies a lesson.

Meanwhile our PM's on his way to the bastion of truth and justice, India, for a trade deal. Cosying up to an Indian PM and ruling party who are a bunch of populist fascists persecuting ppl based on religion, inciting violence as we type, the state police ploughing through towns, bulldozing and burning down homes and businesses right now. A country where women are raped openly in the street in broad daylight under CCTV and on buses while passers-by watch. Our PM jaunts over to take their billions and claims it's a powerful reminder of the living bridge between the two countries whatever the fck that means. Not a peep about India's attrocities on twatter or the media during this visit. Oh no siree, not one fcking word... instead reports our PM will tell India to stand up to those same pesky Ruskies lol. Like telling the Nazis to take a stand against Pol Pot ffs.

I couldn't give a **** about our footballers in Saudi tbh. That's the least of the problems. What's worse is the media manipulated virtue signalling from large swathes of the public who fall for this hypocritical bollox whilst being quite happy to remain ignorant of, and turning a blind eye to, all the rest of it. Fck 'em.

If Hendo was a prison officer that bloke would not have escaped from Wandsworth

As @Lovearsenalcock said it's not for me because of the lack of booze so if I was a footy player it would be a no. Henderson is full of it though, don't go backing campaigns unless you genuinely care and he clearly doesn't.

They all chase the money I'd like to think I wouldn't and would play footy in places in the world that interested me. Within reason like, I'd want a fair amount of money so that I could retire and chill after footy.

I had to look up Jordan Hendersons age he's 33, so to me still quite young, the reason I checked his age is because what we think and do as a younger man, may well possibly change once we are old, people learn from their mistakes and when he gets to his 60's+ only then can he guage whatever things he did, if they were right, or what regrets if any he had, and what lessons he took from his experiences in life, to be a better and wiser human being hopefully.

'He that is without sin among you, let them cast the first stone.' As an ageing man your priorities in life change.

Just for the bantz I'd love to find out he was hiding within the prison, ready to leave once the music has died down. Wasn't there a film or something where someone did that?

you get the impression that wandsworth is so dysfunctional that he is probably locked up in the punishment block but they lost the paperwork

    Exactly <laugh>

I'm guessing someone has actually seen him on cctv leaving or on the loose, and not been persuaded by a mere couple of ropes on the bottom of a truck as a decoy to the master plan. :cheesy:
