My opinion all along has been: I'm disappointed in him, I think he's making a poor judgement call; but, with that said, he is more than just the decision to move to Saudi Arabia and his entire life and history should be used when judging him.. I don't hate him, or really many players that have left the club. Sometimes players leave us, sometimes we throw players to the kerb. It happens. I think in balance, Henderson has more positive associated with him than negative for me even if I don't approve with how or where he went. Diouf, Kewell, Owen and Voronin are really the only ex-players I can think of that I have strong negative feelings about, but, I feel like I have good reasons. Some like Aspas, and Balotelli, I was glad to see the back of but can't say I have strong negative feelings about them as individuals,.
Not deserved is a bit much. I’d say he’s deserved his success a hell of a lot more than a lot of players.
Badmouthing Britain. Badmouthing Liverpool. Mr and Mrs leopard-print tracksuit were always complaining about how Liverpool wasn't stylish enough for them. Meanwhile the two of them always looked like total chavs. Total lack of class though to go to a city as a famous public figure and keep bashing the place.
If this Salah deal is going to happen, they must be thrashing through the details right now with LFC execs or it will not happen (this window anyway) The Saudi’s will not want to lose face by being rejected out of hand.
Here's one. Article in Echo from 2008 But there were several other times while he was with us that either he or his wife criticised Britain and more specifically Liverpool about one thing or another. It always irked me when I saw a new article about Voronin going to the press complaining about his host city and he didn't stop complaining even after he left us. I mean, fair: it is hard to understand some scouse accents for people trying to get a grips of the language, and NHS can have some faults, so some of his complaints may have been legitimate. He even complained about Britain's winter, despite being from Ukraine and later moving to Moscow. Two places that I'm fairly sure have more severe weather than Liverpool.
ManU officially the biggest spenders in the last 10 years (in terms of net transfers) https://football-observatory.com/MonthlyReport87 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66726456 We come in 12th, behind the likes of Villa, Newcastle, Spurs, AC and West Ham (along with the obvious Prem clubs)
AC Milan First on the list? They're one place above us in 11th. Man U are top of the spenders list. Open the link, I didn't put them in any order other than just what came to mind.
Mate you're making this more confrontational than it needs to be. I've quoted what Henderson said, don't make it personal. I echo what Saint said above. I feel the same. I'm not outraged or overly emotional about the situation in any way, just disappointed with the move, in general and the place he chose in particular and instead of leaving it be, he's opened up a can of worms with remarks about the club when he really didn't need to.
You know I had more respect for him as a player than you, so I won't go into that, but I take your point in the last paragraph. I think if he'd just said that he could see himself becoming more peripheral with the newcomers, and he wasn't quite ready for that and he was made an offer he couldn't refuse, then I think most people would have called him a hypocrite for a bit then got over it. By trying to justify himself I think he's just made things worse. If he thinks criticising Klopp will endear him to the fans he's made a serious misjudgement. Anyway, Jim - all your main hate figures have gone and we now have the makings of a competitive midfield so you must be happy?
I'd bet tiny little cultural backwater Liverpool has produced more famous and influential people in many fields than his entire nation.
Salah only Liverpool player on balloon door list. Amazingly Ali isn’t included in the keeper list but ramsdale and Ederson is Not sure how these lists are compiled but Salah was pretty meh last year where as Ali was by far best keeper in the prem.

it's a little business not a real club gig so the truth emerges he's a lazy so and so that isn't interested in working hard and worse no decent club actually earned him
