Yeah, it's decent, not great, so far.... par for the course for the other seasons. My wife loved Arnold's new show "Fubar" on Netflix. I thought it was ok, amusing at times, a lot of "cheap-exits" from built up cliff-hangers... and overall fairly predictable.
my thing is this series feels like they have taken the script of clear and present danger. However the person they've cast in the series 3 as what I can only describe as no spoilers is the "guy on the scene" is a person i couldn't take seriously as his prior acting career hasn't been that serious. We also know fomr top gear that you general don't find opulence in the shan provide of Burma but i'll let that slide as an aside
I just downloaded "AI Dungeon" for my phone and turned off "safe mode". It's an adaptive text adventure game. In my first game I managed to kill two kings, a dragon, have my balls shaved by a mermaid, throw a demon orgy, got a lady pregnant, become gay (no matter how I tried to steer the story it kept making me gay), so I told my lady to go see a witch to grow a penis, but somehow I got a new penis instead and it was 2' long and hairy. My lady left me. Went to a gay conversion clinic that was run by a man who looked like a cross between Jesus and a penguin. Jesus Penguin wouldn't let me convert... So I quit the game. I think it got too offtrack and I need to restart. Entertaining game.
Hope this means they re-do the last series of House Of Cards. One of the best TV events ever and its legacy was utterly trashed with that abomination of a final series.
I thought the ending of the penultimate season was superb though and finished it all nicely, liked it so much that I didn't watch the last one.
Hijack - it’s absolutely ****ing terrible. As someone who works in the aviation security industry as well as previously in ground radar and ground air communications it’s a piss take. It’s funny how they’ve used the same Asian female lead character as Channel 5’s Departure, and that is dreadful as well.
God, I envy you. Robin Wright took over as executive director - stank the ****ing town out. Just artistic vandalism.
So I learned an interesting fact today. The real life Barbie and Ken are actually siblings not lovers. I'm not sure how they are portrayed in the movie, and don't care to find out... But I find that amusing, and wonder how many times little girls have made their Barbie and Ken doll kiss.
Mrs. Davis: Sometimes stupid,.sometimes hilarious, always a little odd and unusual. Definitely worth checking out. Synopsis: nun joins forces with a helpful AI run amok and an underground resistance. dedicated to destroying that AI in order to find and destroy a religious relic. It's not anti-religion, but some storylines might be considered a bit blasphemous if twisting religion a little for purpose of fiction bothers you. It definitely takes liberties.
Wheel of time season 2. After a mediocre first season that seemed overly derivative and cliché. Feel like the second season is off to a better start and has more meat than fluff. Wheel of Time itself feels like just a mashup of every existing fantasy series that came before it without adding much new of its own. First season was just your generic fantasy "trip through the kingdom while being harrassed by bad guys" so far second season feels more like telling its own story rather than mashing together a bunch of stolen ideas from Tolkien, Herbert, and George Lucas.
