    My dad had one of them, made a full recovery thankfully.

    It's a bleed on the brain rather than a stroke, but that may be the same thing i'm not sure.

    He gave me some goalkeepers gloves a few years ago after a ball had been deflected into my face in the pre match warm up when I wasn’t watching.

    Bev has them ?!?!

    Hope he makes a full recovery. Decent bloke.

    It's a type of stroke, the bleeding on the surface of the brain caused the stroke, ie lack of blood supply to the brain.

    Although it seems to be very rare, so this is likely to be more bad luck, rather than anything related to his career.
