i would imagine most tell them to do one after all why would you give out details of your investments , properties , personal possessions etc
i'm willing to bet large sums that most have very little idea of what their dosh has been invested in unlike their lawyers / accountants et al
Liverpool receive surprise windfall as Bundesliga club confirm late transfer Liverpool receive surprise windfall as Bundesliga club confirm late transfer - Liverpool FC - This Is Anfield
In this day and age I don't know that £2.3mill really counts as a financial "windfall", more pocket change... but it's still nice to have. Thank you Mr. Grab-a-bra!
I just want to put this somewhere as it really speaks to our loan strategy. Jamie norris is on loan at Tranmere maybe we were lucky to get him a loan, however..... the tranmere manager didn't use him at all on game 1 and then stuck him in in their cup tie for trophy. he then proceeded to hook him on 42mins. if we were a real club that club OWNER, not manager would be getting a stinking call off our club amd they'd know in no uncertain terms if they treat our players like that they will be blacklisted. the kid was getting a roasting but the game was 0-0. they don't give a monkeys out that trophy. I'd fully expect serious pressure to be applied bu a Chelsea or City etc.
mo salah transfer shocker he's not with the Egypt squad yet. clearly the Saudis have him. Well they do if they've bought legoland Windsor and are using it to tap up English players
I deal with someone as part of my job who appeared on the Sunday Times rich list, worth over £800m at the time, he threatened to sue them if they ever printed his name again on their list. They never did. If you met this guy you would never think for a minute he was approaching billionaire status. He turned up for a meeting once in a polo shirt with egg yolk down the front, washed out shorts and flip flops with his paperwork ins a Sainsburys carry bag. But once we started talking figures he blew the high powered accountants who where there out of the water and 30 minutes after entering the room left with everything he wanted in the first place.
That's my role model if I ever became rich. I could have a billion dollars, I'd probably still drive a Honda (well, maybe splash for an Acura) and wear non-descript clothes. I wouldn't want to bring attention to myself. No Ferrari, or suits, or clothing without food stains for me.
