My first thought for what it’s worth was that us blokes couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery so wires got crossed and the rest all assumed you weren’t going so probably all thought one of others had found this out from you. But you are saying your mate knew you wanted to go on the trip and some original arrangements made. That’s very poor. Is there a problem between you and one of the others?
I don't believe there are any problems. He is ex army and these are his old army buddies but I've been on do's with them before and out drinking and never been a problem. I really y believe my friend has genuinely forgotten and there is no malice in what has happened. But for some reason that feels worse

How is that best case scenario mate? Best case they increase in value and we get a larger fee for them. If you don't believe they are rats then the best case is even better for you as they can return and play for us next season. It is quite unique, the guy in charge was Orta, he has been sacked, his old boss has left. I think all things considered the 49ers and Farke have handled it superbly. How many teams went out and brought in the same quality as Piroe and Ampadu for a fee Again, Roca, Llorente, Aaronson, Kristensen were not good enough, which loans out do you feel were damaging
If there’s genuinely no malice and it’s blokes being blokes being **** at arrangements I’d just go and you’ll probably end up laughing about what a useless ****er he was organising this trip ov a few beers
We will likely recoup a fraction of what these cost, if anything at all. Reality is if they’re on the books for the next three years as many will, it will seriously damage or spending power for a few Seasons. Kristen son has already been dumped by his club and the want rid. That’s the first 10m written off
Genuinely this ^^^^ Sounds like it's a bit of a mix up. Just take the piss out of him about it. It's not a big deal imo. I think if you confront the guy there's a chance it turns in to a serious thing. Just put a pin in it. When he was surprised you were going I'd have asked him if he'd rather you didn't go if it was him and his army mates. I wouldn't get wound up by it. Some right prima donnas on here wanting handbags over it. Wakey thinks he's in a real life version of Mamma Mia FFS. I'm more surprised you all book flights separately. With my mates we usually just tell the least useless **** going to book the tickets and hotel and everyone gives him the money for it. The organiser usually gets a few free beers for doing it. Job done. The rest of us get to moan at him for booking a **** hotel for the rest of the trip.
I can see both sides of the argument regarding players. The squad was **** and tbh needed to be sold. The loan thing is a problem cos if they play like they did last season then we're gonna lose serious money on them as the contracts run down. Ristac is right as well. The best scenario is that some of them have belters of a season so they actually improve their values. However I don't see that happening with most of them..
I wonder by keeping the rats on loan does that give an inflated value to the club. Not a bad idea when you’ve multiple investors to satisfy each year. Surel thought at some point we’ll have to take the hit on them. Some creative accounting on the way maybe
49ers have been part of LUFC since 2018. More than enough time to ensure things like this never happen.
The thing that worries me most about these 'relegation' loans is that we don't know if the clause refers to the single act of being relegated, or the permanence of remaining relegated. So if we don't go straight back up, do our loanees retain the right to being loaned out, or must they return, no matter which division we're in?
