It was lush when we came out the stadium, had a quick one in the Rabbit and it was bouncing, gutted we had to drive back down south.

No bias there then <laugh> , similar incidents occur so frequently., The evidence is there so some sort of retrospective action should be taken to turn the tide so to speak.

Deaf Club, The Peacock and then The Mortal Hound for me

Was a bit pissed off in the deaf club as they had sky on and they were doing the post match analysis, but the volume was turned right down. This isnt meant to be a joke, turn the ****ing things up man!

Always drive over these days, drop my Dad and my boy at the stadium, then park in Roker and walk over. Generally go for a pint after the game, but yesterday I honestly could have left the car and sat in the beer garden all day.
My son passing his test cannot come quick enough (he's not 17 until next Sept like) :emoticon-0140-rofl:

SOBS was the fella who wrote the match reports for ALS, as far as I know.

Just playing devils advocate but I thought O9 put his foot out slightly which may have swayed the ref. Regarding Evans, think the ref probably thought you are just wasting your own time (wrong I know). However, there was a worse one, which is shown when you open these clips, when we win a free kick just outside the box in the first half, when the defender kicks the ball to the half way line - that was definitely a booking but got away with it.

The only thing I thought onien could have been booked for was the foul which was a bit of a shirt pull but still soft imo. Ref was favouring the recently relegated prem team all afternoon.

One of the things that stood out for me was the togetherness of the team, considering that, according to reports leading up to the game, that things weren't right within the club and that various players were unhappy and wanted away. It reminded me to the build up for the Norwich game when N... stayed away from the game and the talk of players being unhappy and having meetings with Speakman etc.
Both games showed that nothing could have been further from the truth as the players could not have tried/played better. Only difference was the result - where we managed to score 5 with no strikers but none with them <laugh>

Anyone remember Carlos Edwards screamer against Burnley. Well useless bit of info here. Rigg was born 2 months after that.

I was right in line with it in the north stand upper. I knew the moment it left his boot it was in. Fantastic goal, just a pity he got injured and never had the chance to show what he could do in the Premier
