Cantwell is prob our best player and Beale played him on the right of a 3 man MF.

Beale has spent the entire summer recruiting guys who are a downgrade on an obese Morelos and Kent.

Shankland would’ve cost about the same as Lammers and would be more effective and at least knows where the net is.

And our defence is still littered with mistakes.

The whole midfield was pathetic today. Absolutely no cohesion. No ability to string passes together. Jack, Cantwell and Raskin couldn't get near McGregor who Absolutely bossed the game despite Beale's tactics of throttling any width and playing through the middle. The amount of unforced errors in that game was unbelievable. Taking Roofe off and leaving that big lump of wid on was incredible especially when he had obviously tasked Roofe with man marking McGregor in the second half.

I'm telling you right here right now...Dowell will be Beale's best signing. Unfortunately Beale doesn't know that and there in lies the problem.
