Nunez…. Guy puts in 100% to absolutely everything he does. Can tell that by the fact that every fan loves him. I’m not sure he’s ever going to be a consistent scorer. He seems like he’ll go 3/4 games without scoring but maybe having 20 shots then he’ll bang in a hat trick from 3. He’s very hit and miss in that aspect but does cause issues for opposition with his pace and power. He might suddenly have a season and bang in 25/30 goals but at the moment think he’s going to be a 10/15 goal striker which isn’t awful as hell contribute many more in his movement etc. Theres always forwards that don’t score goals but fans love them and appreciate what they bring. Werner was ridiculed at cheksea but chelsea fans really likes him as he gave 100% and always out team first. Nunez is similar. Opposition will look today and say he hit the woodwork twice and missed a sitter, but he was also influential in the 3 points (assuming we do win)
I was a little worried first few games that Klopp.was going to sell him off before long because he wasn't getting any starts (and he's too pricy a player to leave on the bench. Glad to see him starting now.
He could have easily walked off with a brace again today. The first today obviously won't go down as his but we don't score without Nunez doing his stuff
