Agreed however the squad he has now is better than the squad Bielsa took on, so I’m hoping within a couple of weeks FARKE can resolve the deficiencies in breaking down defences and getting the goals we need.
Positives from today? Djed Spence looks amazing and is going to ensure Ayling sits on the bench. He will create a lot of chances. Rutter looks a handful and although not as good as last week, he looks dangerous. Ampadu steady away
FARKE is right in his thinking and tactics. He said we just need to score first whoever we play and then the game opens and push to score 4 or 5 like we deserve. Sure it will happen as we have had enough chances this season so far
I just don’t get in games like yesterday we don’t shoot far more from edge our outside. Chance of defected goal or a handball in the box. It’s the same old trying to walk it through eleven defenders. Remember all the quality Pablo strikes from 15 tards
Yep some memorable strikes from outside/edge of the box Pablo Klich Alioski Harrison Ayling As you say anything from a ricochet to a handball could happen. To get the 70 to 100 goals others have to step up but up to now Struijk is our top scorer. So goals from Gnonto, Summerville, Rutter, Piroe, Byram, Spence, Ayling, Gray, Ampadu need to start going in and taking shots instead of trying to walk it in needs to happen too
I’ve mentioned this before before shots taken early, one touch then bang or even less have a far greater chance of beating a keeper. Too often our lads are closed down because they’ve spent too long fancying about. Have a look at our Irish wonder kid yesterday on how it should be done. One being an early strike that’s deflected
Agree with above. Gnonto and Summerville get good positions and have another touch and another touch and another touch and another touch. Rutter is very similar too. One touch, get it out of your feet and hit it hard and low on target. Never thought I'd say this but the only winger I've seen do it regularly is Dan James.
Just watched spurs five goals from yesterday and same thing. One touch for two of the goals and three hit first time. Two of haalands exactly same. Hit first time. Ok far better quality players but doesn’t stop our lads trying it
You lot do realise that sometimes even the very best teams draw 0-0 at home against lower teams right? **** happens. Something like 8% of games end 0-0. Plus the fact our team is relatively new and needs time to gel. Move on
Don’t want Sini back after his agent posted the following and Sini clicked like. Wonder what the “say not to deal breaker” is referring too
Don’t want any of them back because as far as I’m concerned they shat on us as a club and fans. Harrison makes my blood boil they way he got himself a new contract and big pay rise and had a relegation clause added. Wober and Sini both said they were staying and the way Adams couldn’t wait to…….
Worst of all, not one of them has gone to what you would call a top club in their leagues though you could argue that historically Everton are.
Also amazing that we spent £25m this window and our team is better than last seasons team even though we spent a couple of hundred million assembling it
Everton have cheated financial rules for the last 5 seasons and still not been punished, yet we got punished because a couple of fans chanted the truth that Brighton is the UK gay capital. Everton deserve what Derby got. Bournemouth form of last season also showed that they should have been relegated but we under a bunch of useless non managers decided we were ****ter.
Everton winger Demarai Gray has appeared to criticise manager Sean Dyche in a social media post. Gray was in talks about joining Fulham but the move did not materialise before the transfer window closed. The 27-year-old has also been linked with Turkish Super Lig side Besiktas and clubs in Saudi Arabia. "Everton fans have always been great with me but it's so difficult to play for someone who don't show you respect as a person," Gray wrote on Instagram. Dyche being himself................
