Maybe it was down to the timing of the window closing and deals being done. The squad would have been sorted and maybe Liam was hoping one or two new faces may have been eligible to play or be on the bench, but in the end none were available. I agree, having a Sandat or Simm's would have been the obvious thing to do, but maybe it just didn't work out timing wise.

Yes, most thought Seri have been booked twice in the Norwich game, but is was Greaves who was booked for saying something.

Not on long enough to judge but I thought he looked more interested than last time, he got up and down the right well, got a shot on target and provided cover for Coyle.

He looked more secure but that's possibly because we were essentially playing with 2 right backs.

Nah. Daddy Cool would have known that their name was just ‘Darts’ not ‘The Darts’.

they played at Baileys a few times - I used to work there as a glass collector for a while so got to see a few of the cabaret bands at the time like Showaddywaddy, Mud etc - anyway, it was when the punk scene started and for some reason the audience used to spit at the bands and vice versa - disgusting really - anyway someone in the audience decided to spit at the lead singer - next minute the spitter ended up with said singer booting him in the head off the stage and the spitter collapsing to the floor - never forgot that

Teenager, that's when they used to work rather than today when all they do is moan about how bad everything is and how everyone else had it easier

Every generation in history has always complained about the younger generation being lazy and the younger generation complains about the older one being out of touch. It’s nothing new, Charon. Your parents and grandparents probably thought your generation were a bunch of bone-idle sods.

I see what you mean. In 2020 we only had 1 keeper on the bench.

    Whatever were we thinking?

Seriously though, the difference in quality is very impressive.

Don't even remember Pennington or McKenzie. Sadly impossible to forget the likes of Wilks and Maddison for all the wrong reasons
