Aw hon, have you been okay? My nights haven't been the same without you! lol Life is busy as ever, but good thanks hon. Of course i don't mind, you know i love to see you up our end whenever you can make it...and maybe we can go and hunt down w_y!
Yeah i've been good thanks. I just like to watch the world sometimes. I love people watching. Its a great hobby. I have to say, nights are very boring with out you and the others. That sounds good to me. We have tried before, lets hope this time we are more successful. Hopefully i can get him to sign it soon. If not i will have to ask Alan Palmer (an official photographer) where is best to get them.
It's been very quiet without you! Good to see you hon lol...let's hope so, i'm sure he said he stands on the right of the bar...so we'll go and have a peeksee . If we were away at Cov you could have got it there, but we've played that match already! lol
Its always quiet with out me lol. But people have made plenty of noise to make up for it. Im sure we will find him. Unless he hides from me cos he knows im comming lol. I nearly got it at the Posh match, but he missed me out. However, i got his towel so i dont mind. I would like to get as many players on it as possible, but we shall see how it goes.
Thank-you. I would love to get it. Haywire, is a great guy and its nice to see him thanking the fans lately. You lot certainly make plenty of noise with out me lol. Im surprised we dont have the police out handing out ASBO's!!!
Nor had i, until i saw the video. But there you go. I have shouted it a few times and got a thumbs up, so it cant be a bad thing. I just noticed that only 3 players here are on the books currently, and that even Hoskins, Henderson and Ellington managed to score!!
i noticed that too...and they're not supposed to score, they're supposed to hit the crossbar! lol Sad to see some of those that have gone...and others...relieved lol
i wouldn't even attempt it! lol... Anyway hon...i think my carriage is about to turn into a pumpkin lol...i'm going to head to bed....day off tomorrow, yay! A lie in ... Night hon, great to see you! See you tomorrow View attachment 8346
I will see you tomorrow Cinders. Enjoy the lie in, but think of me who will be up at 7 and out by 7:30 to be at uni. Sleep well, sweet dreams
Morning all, it's starting out to be a beautiful morning in West West London, the sun is just coing up and there is hardly a cloud in the sky - managed to get out of the pit after a late night at The Vic. Great to see some real legends last night - Scot and Rene were there as well and were having their photo's taken with Ben Foster and Pat Jennings with the rest of us. I suggested the question to Steve Sherwood "did you laugh as much as us when Andy Gray got his arse sacked out of Sky"...but it never got asked in that way. He just said that the cheating jock bast*** (my words) was just doing his job and the ref did not do his.....I brought a great book last night "100 Greatest Watford Games" and had it signed by all the keepers and little Miss W_Y now has a signed keepers shirt. H and BHD, I will be in the bar at half time with little Miss W_Y and the chaps - just passed the RH end of the bar as you come down the stairs from where TYO stand... Norway - checkout Captain Lockheed & The Starfighers, they were a spin-off from Hawkwind I believe....
Good one w_y... brings back a load of memories... and hawkwind... now i remember "seeing" them at a gig in snorbens in 1971.... dont remember much tho'...
Ok then W_Y hopefully i will be over there to see you. Morning all. Its a good start to the day when you somehow manage to get into uni a full 40mins early!! There is a chill in the air, but the sun is out and trying to make the most of it.
Morning all, from a clear blue sky over eastern bandit country. w_y - sounds like a great night. I remember meeting Steve Sherwood when they used to have the open days up at Shendish Lodge for the team. I was probably only about 10-11 at the time and he looked huge!!! Me, my brother and a couple of friends also managed to find John Barnes and Luther playing tennis and joined them as ball boys, happy days!!!
Yorkie - I bet that was a great night out...they are still gigging as well! I went on a Geology field trip to Dorset and played the Captain Lockheed album on the school mini-bus cassette player non-stop (until the teacher had enough!) - I 'discovered' a wonderful old village pub in Burton Bradstock on that trip all those years ago that sold the local version of pasties called Tiddy Oggies (or something like that)...trouble is that whole area has become "poshed" up. My mate who I go to football with, goes down there at week-ends when we are not playing was there last week and that pub is now a posh restaurant - I suppose it's the influnce of Hugh Fernley-Witteringon and local celeb Billy!! Bragg!
