A couple of mags I'm friends with have put stuff on Facebook about Bruno. "We need to talk about him", "his attitude is wrong, dives in too much, always risks a booking" , "might need moving on in January and get a real playmaker in". I thought he was supposed to be the best midfielder in Europe last season, according to them then!
He wants away mate. I coveted a new deal that didn’t come. They giving it ‘well we played teams out the top 6’ Aren’t you supposed to be fighting for top 4 ya knackers. A lot of my top pals are from that side of the divide and the contradiction is mind blowing. Richest club in the world though, they have that at least…
Mate of mine has an absoluter ****er of a friend. He claims to be a millionaire because he owns a house (with a huge mortgage) that has been valued at £1m Money is an illusion
Yeah, I know mate. Wouldn't be surprised if another couple start agitating as well. According to The Times, the Saudis are planning on bidding for the 2034 world cup and are already greasing palms in Africa and Asia to be front runners. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up over there as part of that
He’s their best player by a mile. They would’ve been absolutely nowhere without him last season. They all buzz off that knacker Joelinton because he puts himself about but he’s hopeless with the ball at his feet. Would’ve been good 40 years ago.
I keep having to remind myself that its more impressive than being 16 as well. He's 16 and 2 months. Look back to January against Fulham and see how much he has filled out since then. That was 8 months ago. Add that on to where he is now and he will still be a 16 year old. At that age there's a huge difference between 16 years and 1 day and 16 years and 364 days. I guess my point being its ****ing amazing how good he is.
The quote from Mr Micawber in "David Copperfield" sums it up:- "Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen nineteen and six, result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pound ought and six, result misery.” A house valued at million pound is nothing if you've got negative equity in the mortgage, in fact it's worse than nothing, it's a liability and a drain. There's plenty of people who can tell about that from when the house prices crashed in 2008.
Watched the match again on Sky and just watched the highlights on ITV4, one thing I've just noticed is that when Hemir had that one on one, Bennette was busting a gut to get in a position for a pass in the box
I'm convinced it'll come, he's getting better and it'll just take one for him to go on a run I reckon
Lovely problem to have but he might not get a chance!!! If Rusyn and Barstow hit ground running (and both have the pedigree to), he's going to have to feed off scraps. I can see him having a loan in January actually. It will be great news if he does as it will mean Rusyn and Barstow (and I guess Mayenda) are doing well
And now I've said this, more or less having Mayenda as an afterthought, watch him be the best of the lot
I absolutely love this man! He's always got a smile on his face, just seems to love being here and love playing football. He's improved so much in such a short space of time, I genuinely think he's the real thing. A midfielder with almost everything in his tool box. Stuttgart will be the first of many big clubs trying to get him.
The sound when he hit the second shot was like a batsman finding the middle and smashing it for 6 Kids a proper talent just hope we can unlock it
Hahaha just seen the interview on Sky where Ekwah is asked to hand Jacky MOTM he’s fuming it’s not his
I think he missed due to lack of confidence and that he had too much time to think about it. If his confidence is up he picks early where he's going to hit it, gives the keeper "the eyes" and goes for it. Today it looked like as he got into the box then took a second to decide, but the keeper made himself big, so he had a quick rethink then hit it. But once he gets his first it'll boost him and he'll get more. We just have to make sure he keeps his confidence up til then
Sensational from back to front today from the very first whistle. Tony had a plan for them and they had no answer. In short, if you push on and leave the space we'll punish you, especially seeing the lack of desire to get back and make tackles and blocks. I'm shocked at their manager given we played him last season, perhaps that daft arrogance of possession wins games kind of attitude meant he was very naive against us today. Some first goals, buzzing for Ekwah - being saying to me dad for a few weeks he'd score! nd of course for Riggy, what a moment for a 16 year old kid, the footage showing how buzzing he was is just absolutely class. Its a tremendous result! A bit of a wake up call for Southampton.
