Lads not that I’m trying to bang my own drum here but I really think Ba will have a good season for us. I watch him and just think there’s so much talent there. Lacking a bit of confidence and you can see that with decision making but he’s making all right runs. I’d be disappointed if Roberts is fit after the international break and TM drops him like, can’t change that team after the result.

Just daft football banter mate ...

... just like Stewart kissing his Southampton badge for the cameras.

Nowt to get worked up about.

Shouldn't we just celebrate a wonderful day rather than having a pop at the magnificent 40,000 support.

Just had a read if their match thread. I’d never comment cos that be childish.

I will say LOLLZZZ though. Apparently now Englands best CB Burn is ****e, as is Howe. Pope can’t catch a cold and Almiron has ‘always been a bit ****.’

Facts as we all know but turncoat as **** and highly amusing.

Oh, and they are owned by murderers. There’s that.

Had the season of their life last season and believed the hype. Pope is a ****ing clown I said it all last season and stuck by my word when my mag mates were saying he should be England No1. He’s a calamity once he has to leave his 6 yard box.

Was absorbing the tranquility on the Bowness to Ambleside ferry, thought id check the score at 10 past 3, forgetting we kicked off early. Saw the score. The serenity of my surroundings were rudely interupted when i shouted '**** ME, WEVE WON 5-0!

We'd have scored more if we had a striker.

What a result today, missed the game live but watched it tonight. Really good performance, looks solid out of possession and such a threat going forward.

No1 played bad today, buzzing for rigg - his reaction was unreal.

Thought Ba was a threat throughout, still holds onto the ball too long but loved how he tried to make things happen when he got it. Hemir looked better when he came on and loved that he was dropping into the defensive shape when we lost the ball.

Clarke was just clarke - what a player

    Ballard was a beast today

Neil n ekwah showed what a combo theyll be this season

Only slight concern (the coach in me!!) Was a couple of free headers from corners in the 2nd half but im nit-picking

Been an exciting couple of days for our club, what a team, what a club n what support we have

I think I have calmed down. Wow who had 5-0 on their card?. Hard to criticise anyone today. And the icing on the cake the Bennette skill and Rigg's header.

    What a totally enjoyable day.

Thought Ballard was immense today along with the back four, but stand out player for me was Ekwah, after a difficult first half possession wise where Smallbone was finding space between the lines, Ekwah probably on Mowbrays orders snuffed this out brilliantly and led to him being subbed after hardly getting a kick second half…very impressive
